Studio Moto is Zimbabwe’s new hub for alternative media and critical civic content. The studio was launched to support African content creators, creatives, and civic organizations to produce and share social justice content. Studio Moto aims to empower African civic organizations with storytelling skills and to assist them in creating compelling content that amplifies their important work. The studio is a video and audio recording studio complete with interchangeable sets that include an infinity wall, green screen, and podcast set. Sets can be used for talk shows, web series, interviews, game shows, and more. The audio studio was designed to accommodate a full live band with a full engineer’s desk.

We have a 360-degree production facility and a Production Team that has the technical know-how from pre-production to post-production. We have 15 years of experience in multimedia storytelling and communicating messages around impact in the pro-democracy space. We are a pro-social justice studio. Our award-winning production team has produced and edited work for international organizations and companies including DW (Germany), African Defenders (Uganda), Transparency International (Kenya), Building & Wood Workers International Trade Union (Denmark), Fojo Media Institute (Sweden), Resource Africa (South Africa), Freidrich Neumann Foundation, and Green Peace.

Annually we provide space and support to incubate dozens of new productions by grassroots Zimbabwean content creators and recording artists with an important message to tell
