The Film Fellowship is a joint initiative between Magamba & Accountability Lab Zimbabwe. It is an annual fellowship for young filmmakers in Zimbabwe who have an interest in social justice and accountability stories.
The 10 film fellows selected each year receive training and mentorship by established filmmakers that culminates in the fellows producing individual films around issues specific to their community.
Their work is then showcased in different communities through mobile and ghetto cinemas as well as at the annual film festival towards the end of the program.
They also work alongside the Arts4Change parent organization Accountability Lab Zimbabwe to produce Integrity Icon short films that spotlight exemplary leaders.
